Description

This mid-century 1930’s residence was purchased by a client who loved the moderne style and recognized the potential in the existing structure. We researched classic design elements from the era and selected appropriate elements to include such as the circular stair under the round skylight, rounded corners in the kitchen and the “floating” horizontal hearth in the great room. The existing pool was repaired The client enthusiastically participated in the interior design and detailing. They brought classical furnishing and art into a gallery-like space waiting for their final touches.

This project was undertaken while David was Senior Design Associate at Polsky Architects in Larkspur.
